Lifestyle cruise vs. lifestyle resort — which is better?

By LAswinglifeResort & Travel Reviews

We've done resort vacations but never a lifestyle cruise. For those who've done both, which do you prefer and why?

I've done both multiple times. Here's my comparison:

Lifestyle Cruise:

  • Pros: Multiple ports, all-inclusive, captive audience (you see the same people all week), bigger group (1000+ couples)
  • Cons: Expensive, set dates, can feel overwhelming, smaller cabins
  • Best for: Social butterflies who love variety and port excursions

Lifestyle Resort:

  • Pros: Flexible dates, more intimate (50-200 couples), can be more affordable, no seasickness!
  • Cons: You stay in one place, have to plan your own activities
  • Best for: Couples who want a relaxed, intimate experience at their own pace

My preference: Resorts for weekend getaways, cruises for once-a-year big vacations. The Bliss Cruise out of Miami is the best lifestyle cruise — book it through Swingular's events page for group rates.

Either way, you'll have an incredible time!
